BMLWE Achkout Wata El Joz Gravity Line

This project involves the construction of a new gravity-fed water distribution line in the Achkout, Wata El Joz area, commissioned by the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment (BMLWE) with funding support from UNICEF. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of ductile iron (DI) pipelines with diameters of 200 mm and 150 mm, along the designated route.

In addition to pipe laying, the project includes the installation of all necessary accessories such as valves, fittings, and thrust blocks to ensure a reliable and durable network. The project also covers the full reinstatement of affected roadways and surfaces to their original condition, ensuring minimal disruption to local traffic and infrastructure.

The objective of the project is to enhance the water distribution system in the area by improving flow capacity, reducing losses, and supporting the needs of surrounding communities through sustainable infrastructure development.
