Construction of 3 Reservoirs within BWE (Britel, Saadnayel & Qaroun)

This project, funded by UNICEF and executed in coordination with the Bekaa Water Establishment (BWE), entails the construction of three reinforced concrete water reservoirs strategically located in the towns of Britel, Saadnayel, and Qaroun. These reservoirs are designed to significantly enhance the region’s water storage and supply capacity, directly benefiting thousands of residents across the Bekaa region.

The scope of work includes excavation, civil and structural construction of the reservoirs, internal and external waterproofing, installation of inlet and outlet pipe networks, valves, chambers, and all related electromechanical equipment. The project also covers the construction of access roads, fencing, and safety features to ensure long-term operational efficiency and accessibility.

By strengthening local water infrastructure, this UNICEF-funded initiative contributes to improving water security, public health, and resilience in underserved communities, in alignment with national and humanitarian development goals.
